This author is crazy. And she will tell you that! Her ongoing navigating her mental illness provides inspiring stories. Plus, she is just plain funny. The way she communicates and tells her head shaking stories provides a lot of laughs and insights at the same time.

Great Leaders have No Rules
This is a great book to have your work teams to read and discuss. I did the same. Several of the concepts I disagreed with but the author does a wonderful job at arguing his case, I ended up changing my mind on several of the standard, unspoken “rules.” My team is grateful! LOL!!

Great stories of life on the front lines. Amazing insights into how the Seals work. The authors do a wonderful job translating this into leadership for us non-Seals! Here is one quote I enjoyed about Up-Line leadership: If your boss isn’t making a decision in a timely manner or providing necessary support for you and your team, don’t blame the boss. First, blame yourself. Examine what you can do to better convey the critical information for decisions to be made and support allocated.
